Mineral and thermal spa Bad Emstal
The spacious thermal pool, as well as the sauna and solaria area, invite you to a visit.
A young bath
Having been declared a spa resort as late as 1992, the municipality of Bad Emstal in Northern Hesse might theoretically count to the newcomers among Hesse’s spas. However, the healing effect of its source water has been known for much longer. For more than 30 years, guests travel to the Nature Park Habichtswald Forest – knowing that with its minerals and trace elements Emstal’s elixir will uplift health and well-being. Also babies will appreciate the water with a temperature of 34 °C.
Health promotion
The mineral water, which is sourced from a depth of 800 metres, is perfectly suited for people who suffer from diseases of their musculoskeletal system, such as rheumatism, arthrosis, sciatica, and neuralgia. It supports the healing process and gives the body new energies and new zest for life. For guests who would like to maintain their fitness the mineral and thermal spa offers 15-minute water gymnastics for free several times a day and water-aerobics every Tuesday.
Coddling and relaxing
Apart from the mineral and thermal spa with its indoor and outdoor pool, as well as the separate therapeutic fitness pool, the “sauna & solaris” area allows guests to just feel good and to balance body, mind, and soul. The rock steam grotto and the sauna area invite you to relax and enjoy.
Fun for the entire family
A special offer for families is the “family fun” every Saturday from 13:00 to 18:00. The young and the young at heart find a lot of space to play with water toys.
The range of offers of the mineral and thermal spa is rounded off by an affiliated medical department.
The restaurant in the entry area provides a wide range of food and beverages.
The spa gardens with their rose and herbs garden are located next to the mineral and thermal spa and are well worth a visit.
Adjacent to the spa, there are eight free campervan sites.
